CeraVe adds lotion and serum
Formulated for normal to dry skin,
CeraVe’s new AM Facial Moisturising Lotion
SPF15 is enriched with the brand’s three
skin-identical ceramides and provides
all-day hydration.
The face lotion features three essential
ceramides, hydrating hyaluronic acid and
niacinamide to reduce irritation. CeraVe’s
patented MVE delivery technology is
said to ensure a progressive release of
moisture throughout the day to maintain
24-hour hydration.
Offering broad-spectrum sun protection,
the “innovative” SPF15 formula is
promoted as providing an added
level of protection in addition to the
recommended supplementary daily use of
a SPF50+ sunscreen.
Developed with dermatologists, the
lightweight lotion texture allows for
seamless application for everyday use and
is noncomedogenic, paraben-free, oil-free
and fragrance free.
The brand’s range now also includes
CeraVe Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Serum,
which offers replenishing hydration to lock
in moisture for 24 hours, helping to defend
against skin dryness and promote a smooth
and supple complexion.
The serum’s superhero ingredient is
hyaluronic acid, which works to restore the
skin’s barrier to prevent transepidermal
water loss and maintain skin hydration.
While many skin care solutions include
hyaluronic acid, CeraVe’s serum is said
to be uniquely formulated with three
essential skin-identical ceramides and MVE
technology, ensuring the serum not only
helps to hydrate the skin, but also assists in
restoring the skin’s barrier.
The skin-smoothing serum also contains
vitamin B5 to address and reduce
skin irritation.
CeraVe features a “refreshing”, lightweight
cream-to-gel texture that is said to be easily
absorbed. Developed with dermatologists,
the product is allergy tested, fragrance
free, paraben free, non-comedogenic and
suitable for sensitive skin.
