EVENT SA F&B BRANDS WELCOME THE Focus onFoodservice Food South Australia is emphasising the importance of this year’s Foodservice Australia event for the state’s food and beverage (F&B) businesses, with industry colleagues keen to reconnect after the disruptions of Covid-19. South Australian brands exhibiting with Food South Australia at Foodservice Australia in June include Cucina Classica, Currawong Olive Oil, Good Country Hemp, Ferguson Australia, MBL Custom Blending and Rio Vista Olives. These businesses are keen to showcase their products to foodservice decision makers, says Food SA CEO Catherine Sayer. “This trade show, with its focus on food service, is especially important because the foodservice sector was suspended virtually overnight by Covid-19 last year,” she said. “We know everyone is keen to reconnect with industry colleagues in Melbourne in June. “Food SA’s activities are developed in conjunction with our industry growth framework, in which growing markets are a key strategic pillar. Trade shows are an important strategy to achieve market growth goals. “The value of physically reconnecting with customers and being able to showcase products directly to new buyers can’t be overestimated.” Also representing SA at the show this year are Balfour’s, Beerenberg Farm, Beston Global Foods, Bickford’s Group, Cafetto, Golden North and Specialty Foods. “Regardless of whether a brand is an established name or a fast-rising star in the sector, participating in shows such as Foodservice Australia is one of the most effective ways to reach the decision makers in our industry,” Ms Sayer said. “Being able to see and sample products first hand, learn the stories of the producers, and to develop and reinforce these valued connections is essential to everyone along the industry value chain.” Foodservice Australia 2021 will be held from 27-29 June at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
