Indications and Dosage: For the temporary relief of insomnia. Adults and children≥12 years of age: One tablet 20 minutes before bed when necessary. Do not use for more than a few days at a time. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to any ingredient; children under 12; severe hepatic, renal or respiratory insufficienc . Precautions: Breast-feeding; bladder neck obstruction; urinary retention; stenosing peptic ulcer; pyloroduodenal obstruction; symptomatic prostatic hypertrophy; porphyria; asthma; chronic bronchitis; epilepsy; appendicitis. Avoid concurrent use with alcohol and other medications which suppress the CNS. Adopt a risk-benefit approach in glaucoma. Use in pregnancy: Use with caution (category A). Non pharmacological interventions for insomnia should be considered as first line therapy. Adverse reactions: Dizziness, disturbed coordination, lassitude, headache, muscular weakness, psychomotor impairment, dry nose, throat and mouth and thickened respiratory tract secretions.
