WHAT’S NEW DISINFECTANT WITH NO ALCOHOL King Mist is a new Australian made “hospital-grade” disinfectant as part of a “new breed” of cleaning products that is said to be “proven to kill 99.9 per cent of germs, viruses and bacteria”. King Mist’s formulation is promoted as bridging efficacy and environmental benefits, featuring two products: a Disinfectant Spray that comes in a 500ml, 250ml and 100ml bottle, which can be sprayed on a variety of surfaces, and a 250ml Disinfectant Bomb, a single-use solution to eliminate germs in high-touch areas by dispersing the water-based solution around the room effectively, and quickly killing germs. King Mist Disinfectant Spray 500ml (RRP $12.95) and King Mist Disinfectant Bomb 250ml (RRP $11.80) are available at select retailers. KITKAT INSPIRED BY ICE CREAM KitKat has introduced two new flavours said to be inspired by ice cream. According to the brand, KitKat Ice Cream Inspired Mint Choc Chip offers “crisp” wafer fingers covered in “creamy” mint flavoured choc, topped with Swiss cocoa crisps, all on a “smooth” milk chocolate base. KitKat Ice Cream Inspired Caramel Crisp includes “crisp” wafer fingers covered in “creamy” caramel flavoured choc, topped with French caramel flakes, all on a “creamy” white chocolate base. Available in the KitKat block and four-finger KitKat bar, the new range is available at all major supermarkets and select convenience stores. SHAPES OF FLAVOURS TO COME Arnott’s has delivered the “ultimate flavour hit” with its latest limited- edition Shapes flavours: Triple Cheese Toastie, Sizzling Steak and Onion, and Double Cheeseburger. “We know Aussies love Shapes and are all about the flavour hit which is why we are constantly trialling new and exciting flavours that leave fans wanting more,” Arnott’s Marketing Manager Savoury Shannon Wright said. “The new finger-licking range will satisfy those afternoon cravings, combining the perfect blend of cheesy goodness or BBQ sizzle. We know people love the taste of a steak sandwich, a burger or a toastie, so this range provides the perfect snacking solution with a flavour hit they love.” MINI-CHOC TWIST TO FAVOURITES Allen’s and Chokito have launched three new bite-sized treats. Promoted as being perfect for all occasions and shareable in size, Allen’s Mini White Choc Raspberries, Allen’s Mini Chocolate Black Cats and Chokito Bites are “sure to bring a smile to your next gathering”. “We love surprising people with new ways to enjoy their favourites, and our last Allen’s Bites range with Mini Choc Banana and Mini Choc Raspberry was a great success,” Nestlé Head of Marketing Confectionery Joyce Tan said. “Everyone loves the bite-sized twist on our classic lollies, especially when they’re coated in chocolate.” The three new products (RRP $4.50) are available in Coles, Woolworths and independent stores.
