Tally-Ho Filter offering in super slim and micro slim variants
Imperial Brands Australasia has relaunched its Tally-Ho Filter offering in the super slim and micro slim variants.
“Our Tally-Ho papers have a longstanding heritage in Australia,” the manufacturer said. “The brand has been a number one favourite among consumers for decades.
“After completing some consumer-driven market research we now believe we have addressed some key consumer needs and want to achieve great results within the filters category, too.
“The most commonly asked questions by consumers at point of purchase were around brand, variant, colour and pack size.”
This resulted in the packs being more compact, and colour-coded orange and blue for “easy consumer navigation”.
The brand has also transitioned into a 140-pack size as this is “the most popular pack size on the market with 40 per cent [share of market].
“We’re available in the top two variants of super and micro slims that dominate the market with over 80 per cent share together,” the manufacturer said.
“We want to navigate a higher share of the filters category, [and] found it was critical to address what consumers find important when choosing their filters. We believe we’ve now done this and that the results will soon follow.”
Best value super slims
TabSol has launched Edge Esse Blend 20s, which it says offers the best value in super slims cigarettes on the market.
Manufactured in Korea, Edge Esse Blend is aimed at the “discerning super slims consumers who seek ultimate quality and taste”, the manufacturer says.
“Edge Esse Blend is one of the fastest growing super slims brands.”
Available in Menthol and Blue variants, Edge Esse Blend 20s retail for $32.
‘Best value’ crushball filter cigarettes
TabSol has launched Carnival Change 20s. Part of the crushball filter segment, its launch
is said to be well timed as the crushball/capsule filter cigarettes is a growing segment.
“The capsule filter cigarettes provide consumers with a choice of additional menthol flavour,” TabSol said. “Carnival Change is known for its smooth taste and is the best value crushball filter pack.”
Carnival Change 20s are available in Red and Blue variants (RRP $29).
