Voltaren Osteo Gel 12 Hourly for flare-up days • Contains topical diclofenac to relieve pain and reduce inflammation for up to 12 hours3 • Concentrates at the site of application4 • The incidence of local adverse events is increased with topical NSAIDs, but gastrointestinal adverse events are reduced compared with oral NSAIDs5 Panadol Osteo contains Paracetamol 665 mg per caplet. Pharmacy-Only Medicine. Indications and dosage: For temporary relief of persistent pain of osteoarthritis. Adults and children ≥ 12 years: 2 caplets every 6–8 hours. Contraindications: Patients with a previous history of hypersensitivity to paracetamol or to any of the excipients; in children under 12 years. Precautions: Equally space dosage within a day. Do not take with allergy to paracetamol, seek medical advice with liver or kidney disease. Adverse reactions (very rare): Thrombocytopenia; anaphylaxis, cutaneous hypersensitivity reactions including skin rashes, angioedema and Stevens Johnson syndrome; bronchospasm, especially in patients sensitive to aspirin and other NSAIDs; hepatic dysfunction. Voltaren Osteo Gel 12 Hourly contains diclofenac diethylamine 23.2 mg/g. Indications and dosage: For short-term (up to 3 weeks) pain relief of mild and localised forms of osteoarthritis of the knees and fingers. Adults and children ≥ 12 years: Apply to affected area up to 2 times a day. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to any ingredient; in asthma attacks, urticaria or rhinitis precipitated by aspirin or other NSAIDs; in pregnancy or breastfeeding; in children under 12 years.
