SNACKS EXPAND YOUR RANGE Twiggy sticks made ‘healthy’ by Kooee Kooee has launched Kooee Sticks, a variety of premium organic beef and free-range pork snack sticks. The range is described as the old- fashioned twiggy stick made healthy. “Our new range of Kooee Sticks are made with either organic, grass-fed beef or certified free- range pork from the best suppliers in Australia, made without added hormones and antibiotics,” Kooee co-founder Shaun Malligan said. “They’re crafted naturally, with only real, honest ingredients and nothing else, and are all gluten-free.” A bite-sized snack from Doritos PepsiCo has introduced Doritos Flavour Shots to the market. Described as “intensely-flavoured, bite-sized snacks that excite your taste buds and wake up your senses”, the new range is available in three “bold” flavours: • Doritos Cheese Supreme Flavoured Mix (35g). • Doritos Mexicana Flavoured Corn Crunch (25g). • Doritos Flamin’ Hot Flavoured Nuts (45g). Doritos Flavour Shots are retailed at $2. Kettle launches Salt & Vinegar popcorn Kettle has launched a Salt & Vinegar flavour in its popcorn range. According to the brand, its “much loved” Kettle sea salt and vinegar seasoning is all about the “tangy bite”. Kettle’s popcorn range is said to be 100 per cent natural, and gluten free. It is also claimed to contain whole grains, 100 per cent Australian corn, and no added MSG, artificial colours or flavours. The new flavour is available in an 80g bag. AmazeBalls introduces single serves Ashgrove’s AmazeBalls bite-size cheddar cheese snack is now available in 12g single serves. Said to be made from real Tasmania cheese, AmazeBalls is promoted as containing up to 7g of protein per serve. It is also claimed to be low in sugar. AmazeBalls are available in Cheddar Cheese, Pizza Supreme, Sweet Chilli & Sour Cream, and Salted Caramel flavours. Metro Food dips into chips and salsa Metro Food Co has recently launched a range of Tortilla Veggie Chips and Salsa. The range, according to the company, has incorporated chickpeas, green peas, red lentils and beetroot, delivering stronger nutritionals while maintaining all sensory attributes – all with five or less ingredients.
