MARKETING NEWS J.C.’S VIVID NEW BRANDING Australian family owned and operated business J.C.’s is rolling out a full rebrand of its entire range of nuts, dried fruits, legumes, seeds and snacks. A spokesperson says J.C.’s wanted the new look to complement the inherent natural goodness of its products, “creating a brand visual that speaks of vitality – giving the packs energy, flow and life, much in the way that our products do”. “The rebrand is more than just packaging, though. It’s a testament to our commitment in supporting healthier and happier daily lives through wholesome eating.” Building on a rich history and several generations of food merchants, founder Joe Cannatelli grew up on an orchard in Melbourne’s south-east, spending his youth in fruit and vegetable wholesale markets. It was during this time that he developed a love of independent retailing and fresh produce, including nuts. J.C.’s says that since its very early days it has become known for the freshness and unrivalled quality of its products. “Good food is the source of good health and we believe that quality ingredients are at the heart,” the spokesperson said. “For more than 25 years we’ve built up relationships with like-minded growers and producers who we know and trust – something we pride ourselves on as a family business.” Today, J.C.’s Quality Foods is “one of the nation’s largest suppliers of premium quality nuts and dried fruit to the independent and route trade”, expanding the company’s footprint in Australia and across the Asia Pacific. The new look is set to deliver improved standout in-store and will be supported with point of sale and merchandising, coming together for a dynamic display at store level, J.C.’s says, adding that a stronger dive into social and digital will also help with consumer pull-through and drive greater brand engagement. J.C.’s fresh new branding is rolling out nationwide in April. NEW DISTRIBUTORS FOR BUDERIM GINGER Buderim Ginger has announced a change to its distribution network for independent retailers.
